Sunday/Monday Posts - September 24th and 25th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

Fall is officially here, but it still feels a bit like summer.  That's fine with me :)

I finished two books this week...both really good.  I'm also doing well with my challenges.  By the end of the coming week, I should have at least two more completed.  I'm not sure I will complete my Goodreads challenge of 100 books, but I still have three months, so you never know.

It seems like October and November are already being booked with blog tours.  I guess there are quite a number of books coming out.  Fortunately, they aren't all review tours - some are spotlights.

I finished binge watching Nurse Jackie.  What an excellent show.  I'm not sure what, if anything, I'll be binging on next since the new TV season starts this week.  So, I'll be busy with that.  For now, I'm enjoying Ray Donovan, Chesapeake Shores and Outlander.

It's been pretty quiet around here, which is good for my reading time :)  I hope you all have a great week and enjoy your books/TV/movies!

Yvonne

  1. I just finished talking about how fall is here where I live on my blog post today, and then I looked at the weather forecast. Summer is back. Haha. Oh well. It isn't really anything new.

I'm loving the sound of The Secret Book & Scone Society and Kirsten Wiess can do no wrong in my book (at least so far). You've got some great sounding books, Yvonne. I hope you enjoy them!

    Have a great week!

  2. I just finished Nurse Jackie too! Even though I had seen it when on Showtime, I loved having it all to binge-watch. I still kept hoping for a different ending, though...kind of sad, but beautiful, too.

I love the look of your cozies...enjoy!

Have a great week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  3. Yup, it still feels a bit like summer here, but I don't mind at all :) I still have hopes of completing my 100 books challenge! You are right, there is still some time.
The book with the cat looks cute, despite being a murder mystery :D
Anyway! Have a great week :)

  7. Ooh, look at all the lovelies! Sounds like you're nailing those challenges. I have one left to complete and it's hard. I can't find a book with the letter Q in the title. LOL Been hot here too but not complaining. We know what comes next. I don't like cold.

  9. I've heard amazing things about Nurse Jackie. I really want to watch Chesapeake Shores and Outlander though I haven't read any of the books. Both shows look amazing. We had some fallish weather but it's heated up to the 90s again which I'm not pleased with. I don't want it to be cold but is highs in the 70s and 80s too much to ask? Have a great week!
