The Weekend Review - June 21st-23rd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

I feel like the weeks are just flying by.  Nothing exciting to report.  I did have two medical appointments this week and both went well. So, I'm good medically for awhile.

Now I need to catch up on my reading.  I thought I was doing really well not accepting any new review requests, but I couldn't resist and now I'm behind again.  I did manage to finish two books this week.  That's always good.

I'm not doing too much as far as watching anything.  I've been binging on Falcon Crest and still watching Transplant and Criminal Minds, but that's about it.

Nothing else going on here.  It's just hot and humid which means I'm inside with the a/c going.  I hope everyone has a great week!

  1. Nice set of books for reading next.
I finishd watching Ginny and Georgia on Netflix and am waiting for the next season as it ended with a cliff hanger. I read that they plan two more seasons. Stay cool this hot week!

  4. A good looking book haul. I have so many books to get through. I have only managed one of my 20 Books Of Summer Challenge so I am very behind as I have to prioritise deadline books.

    Have a great week!

  5. yes it's terribly hot this week so I'll be mostly inside with AC too. Usually July and August are like this but we are getting an early start in June with the heat dome.

  13. Nice looking books. I have been trying to add fewer books to my stack by not opening most of the emails I get each day with good deals on ebooks. I'm still accepting too many review copies though. Seems like I read one and then add two more. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  14. I hadn't requested books in sooo long, and then I couldn't help myself and requested a small stack. Sigh. When will I learn?!

  15. You've got so many great looking books coming up! It's so easy to get behind when it comes to review books. Every year I say I'm not going to take on too many and it's gotten better but is still teetering on out of control. I hope you have a great week!
