This week, the topic is Books with a High Page Count. Unfortunately, I don't read books with lots and lots of pages. They just don't hold my attention and more often than not I'm thinking about the next book. So, I did my own topic this week.
I joined a TBR reading challenge in January to read 12 books off my TBR. I've read exactly 0 books for this challenge. I've been too busy reading review books. I really want to concentrate on my TBR, though. I probably won't complete this challenge, but I'm hoping to at least read a couple of these...
(Click on the cover and it will take you to Goodreads to learn more about each book.)
What's on your list this week?
Reading off the TBR is always a challenge. Good luck finding a few to read before December.
ReplyDeleteThese are some fun-sounding titles!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with all of these cozy mysteries! I understand the frustration in having more review books to read than you have time for. I'll start the year with good intentions, and only have one or two a month but by the middle of the summer I'm back to four or more a month. UGH!

I read several of the Joanne Fluke books back in the day, but I haven't read any of the others!
ReplyDeleteThat's a shame that you haven't been able to get to the books on your TBR list. I make a point of slipping in one of my own choices of books between all the review demands, after all it is my time.

Good luck with your TBR!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading this post! It's so relatable. I also had a challenge to read from my TBR list this year, and just like you, I've read exactly zero books for it! It's tough when there are so many new and exciting books to read. I'm hoping to get to mine soon as well. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your challenge! My list is here, mostly history:

Awesome list!
ReplyDeleteThese look good. I don't tend to read long books either. I am doing 20 Books of Summer Challenge to try and read some books on my shelves. I put a list of 10 forward and have still only read 5 🤣
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

A wonderful stack of reads.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
Good luck with your challenge! I had my family pick some off my shelves for me to read, and I am woefully behind.
ReplyDeleteIt's a constant battle between the TBR list books (especially the ones I own) and the review books. I hope you get at least some of these read; they look like fun.
ReplyDeleteLong books are much harder to find time to get to, I do hope you get a chance with some of your TBR.
ReplyDeleteall these books look like real good reads would love to read them in print formats so I can review them love reviewing print copies of books
ReplyDeleteI need to get caught up on Patricia Fry's books.
ReplyDeleteI've been working on trying to read backlist books and have done okay. I like Nancy Coco's series, but am behind on it as well.
ReplyDeleteCozies are always quick, fun reads! I've read those Fluke books, but that's it. Good luck with your challenge.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
I tried the TBR Challenge once. Total fail. I was busy reading too many review books. Hope you get a chance to read these, Yvonne.

I did do the challenge this week but explained that a long book for me is most likely short for others. I need to slow down on the review books, they are also keeping me from my TBR. These books look like cute, fun, light reads. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big high page count reader either. All of these look fun though I've finally decided the Joanne Fluke series isn't for me. I finally took some of the books I meant to read and stacked them up with easy access and have gotten a few read that way but it's hard to read off the TBR sometimes!
