My Review
Nancy and Thomas are celebrating their wedding anniversary with a cruise on board The Liberty Voyager. Their plans include a quiet trip where they can spend many hours together, alone. It’s not long before they put things on hold so Nancy can do what she does best - snoop.
Nancy meets a lovely, older wealthy woman named Sophia Wellington. Sadly, the woman is confined to a wheelchair, and she has a terminal disease. This is to be her final journey.
The next day, Nancy is stunned to learn that Sophia passed away in her sleep. She goes to pay her respects but ends up being very suspicious. Many things are not adding up. Nobody believes Nancy’s claims that this might be a case of murder and not a death from natural causes. Nancy is determined to prove she is correct.
This is the third book in this cozy mystery series which features the backdrop of a cruise ship. I really enjoy this series, and this book was no exception.
It features a wonderful cast of characters with a storyline that moves at a steady pace. The author has a great talent to draw the reader right into the story. I felt as if I was right by Nancy’s side the entire time on the ship. I always enjoy when I get transported to another place.
It’s a short book, but I enjoy reading short books after long ones. I’ll continue making my way through this series.
