The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
Happy Valentine's Day! We went to a local restaurant for a Chinese buffet, and it was really good. We haven't been there in a while.
I've been getting back into walking and listening to audiobooks. It feels good to be getting some exercise in again.
Another good thing for me is that I've been reading so many great books lately. My reading year has started off well.
I watched a really good movie this week "Song Sung Blue". It's based on the real-life story of a couple who were a tribute band for Neil Diamond. It starred Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman. I thought it was really done well.
Overall, it's been pretty quiet here. I hope you are all doing well and have a great week!

Yay for being able to get out and walk again! I can't wait until that is a regular part of my routine again. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks! You too!
DeleteHope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I hope yours is great too!
DeleteI'm glad you are able to get out now and walk and listen to audiobooks. The weather is much better here, too.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy all your reads.
Thanks. I do enjoy my walks. Have a great week!
DeleteI glad you've been able to get outdoors. We are having some nice weather after a good six weeks of below normal winter temps. I'm going to follow your lead and go for a walk with an audiobook!
ReplyDeleteThe audiobook makes a world of difference when I'm walking. I love it!
DeleteSteeped in Mystery has been on my list! It looks so good!
ReplyDeleteIt really does. I'm looking forward to reading it.
DeleteHow wonderful to get outside and walk and with audiobooks. I have been sleeping this week but the upcoming week looks to be nicer weather. Happy Valentine's Day. I love Chinese food.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I hope you are doing better this week!
DeleteI'm so glad you're able to get out and about - it does a number for your mental health!
ReplyDeleteIt's true. It really helps.
DeleteHurrah for getting back to walking! I should pick myself some audiobooks and do some more walking too, following your example -- normally I like to go cycling, but I can't at the moment.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great week for reading and blogging!
Listening to audios while I'm walking really helps me get some exercise in and have fun doing it. Have a great week!
DeleteI loved Song Sung Blue, it was so well done. I love listening to audiobooks when I exercise, good for you. I hope you have a great week, Yvonne.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carla. I hope you have a great week too!
DeleteI am hoping to get out for my walks again soon. We're finally getting consistent temps above freezing, so the snow and ice should melt soon. Have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll be able to walk soon and that you get nicer weather. You have a great week too!
DeleteThat does sound like a good movie. I wish we had a Chinese buffet near me. XO
ReplyDeleteThere aren't many around anymore, but the one near us is really good.
DeleteGreat you are getting back into walking and the added bonus of getting through an audiobook.
ReplyDeleteI want to see that movie
ReplyDeleteI wanted to see Song Sung Blue but didn't get to the cinema to see it! I will have to look for it
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I'm glad you had a good Valentine's Day! I miss Chinese food. The only Chinese restaurant around here is too expensive.
ReplyDeleteSome great reads.
ReplyDeleteThe Chinese restaurant sounds good! We did lunch at a British pub on Valentine's day and it was fun. The Kari Lee Townsend is on my TBR. I've read another book by her and enjoyed it. Have a great week!
