Your #1 is perfect, and I completely agree. I love when my calico Tonks brings me toys to play fetch with. And I wonder if the beach would ever grow on me. I'm not a big fan of sand, and I've never gotten much joy from beaches, but I wonder if living near one would change that. It's an interesting thought.
