Next a book you all must read, it is a fascinating journey of a women walking 2700 miles alone on a hike through the Pacific Crest Trail. Wild by Cheryl Strayed. It will keep you up at night. I started the series by L.L. Bartlett "The Jeff Resnick mystery" #1 and found it a disturbing mystery but riveting. For fun I started reading Ellen Byerrum death on heels. Lots of fun. I also read Lucy Arlington Buried in a Book, highly recommended. Michael Connelly The Fifth Witness is excellent and is the next in the Lincoln Lawyer series. Tempest in The Tea Leaves by Kari Townsend is a good first book in a new series that is very enjoyable as well as has a passable mystery. The New Balducci is a sad tale of a child who has lost their parent and a killer for hire, not recommended.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4212778319280550447.post-83263101300684396322012-06-03T11:33:30.654-04:002012-06-03T11:33:30.654-04:00Happy June reading!Happy June reading!fredamanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12445217103291725907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4212778319280550447.post-20684639900457008532012-06-03T10:50:13.713-04:002012-06-03T10:50:13.713-04:00I only recently purchased Fifty Shades of Grey. The weather isn't that much differ...Hi Yvonne,

The weather isn't that much different here in the UK. One minute we have been declared a drought zone, then we get so much rain that it's a bit like Noah's Ark trying to keep dry!

Unfortunately, it has once again turned to rain this 'jubilee weekend', when everyone is out celebrating the Queen's 60 years on the throne, with street parties, concerts, processions etc. We all have an extra couple of days off work as well, which means that many businesses are now closed until Wednesday!

I am also so very far behind with my author review requests, that I doubt I shall ever catch up, no matter how hard I try. I don't think that the amount of time blogging is taking up, is helping very much, but it is always good to have a chat with fellow readers.

I am desperately trying to be very selective about which books I add to my reading list from other people's recommendations, so I have been very good with your great selection and just picked one ... 'Murder On Devon', although you have written some great reviews for them all.

Enjoy your Sunday, YvonneYvonne @ Fiction Books Reviewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14821114534056290177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4212778319280550447.post-72801752721624389452012-06-03T01:23:14.463-04:002012-06-03T01:23:14.463-04:00All the mysteries look good! It's cool, then hot and humid, and it's been raining lots. And it's not even rainy season yet.Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16974471357928655315noreply@blogger.com
