The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
I hope you all had a great holiday and a great week. It's been quiet here. I've just been working on completing some of my reading challenges. I fell a little short, but that's okay. I'll have my challenge wrap up post soon.
Anyone have anything exciting planned for New Year's Eve? We'll probably just stay home and bring in dinner from a local Italian restaurant. Then, we'll just watch the ball drop at midnight and then go to sleep. lol
I finished 6 books this week (a record for me!), although a couple were shorties and one audiobook. They were all good with a couple set around the holidays. I haven't watched much of anything this week. Although I did watch a couple of Hallmark movies and my favorite Christmas movie It's A Wonderful Life.
I wish you all a very Happy New Year. I hope 2026 is a great one!

We usually stay in on new year's eve too. Sometimes we get to bed before the ball drops! Have a happy new year.

Our new year will be much the same :)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful reading week, and a very happy New Year
I have Cross Your Heart and Hope He Dies coming up soon! I hope we both enjoy it. I probably won't make any of my challenge goals for this year (but I'm so close on one!) and like you, I'm totally okay with it. I'm happy with the progress I did make.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a glorious week, and some fun reads! Hope you're enjoying your holidays :)

Glad you got a lot of reading done. No plans for New Year's Eve. XO
ReplyDeleteI watch It's a Wonderful Life every year as well. I love it. I won't be doing much for New Year's either, but might have dinner with a friend. Wishing you a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good time of year for quiet, and for catching up.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your reads this week, and happy new year, here's to some great reading in 2026 🎉
ReplyDeleteMmm I haven't seen that JAK book around anywhere, hope its good. My exciting New Year would be asleep at midnight as we go into 2026!
ReplyDeleteI think we might go to the movies on New Years Eve, and we will be in bed by well before midnight. I might try to read so I might still be awake but only just!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Trying to fit in my reading
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a nice Christmas, Yvonne. We were with family on Christmas Eve and then we had the kids home on Christmas Day. Our New Year's will be a quiet one at home, too. Great books this week. I picked up some Kindle ones as well. Enjoy your week!

A very Happy New Year to you, too:). This year we're breaking out of the staying-at-home on New Year's Eve. We're visiting Wakehurst Gardens for their fabulous Glow Wild light show, instead. So long as one of us doesn't fall ill...
ReplyDeleteGreat reading week! I liked that Jayne Ann Krentz book and hope you do too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
