The Weekend Review - February 7th-February 9th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

It was a pretty quiet week for me.  I did have a doctor's appointment and that went well.

I only finished one book this week and it was a good one.  I already know it will make my "Best of 2026" list and we're only in February. It was This Book Made Me Think of You.  Loved it.

My viewing is still The Pitt, Chicago Med, Fire and PD.  I, also, found Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. I've only watched two episodes and love this series, so far.

Not much else is happening here.  Same old stuff.  I hope you all have a great week!

  11. I am looking forward to seeing the second season of The Pitt, although it will probably be awhile. My TV viewing has tapered off considerably recently. I do catch an episode of Doc on occasion. I hope you enjoy A Box Full of Darkness! I really liked it. I hope you have a good week. Take care, Yvonne.

  14. I am glad your Dr. Appt went well. We liked the first 2 episodes of Starfleet Academy, but not the next 2. I hope it gets better. I like Holly Hunter.

I’m also enjoying Starfleet Academy, I’m even watching each weekly episode instead of waiting to binge it all.
