Sunday/Monday Posts - October 18th and 19th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!

The weather in New York keeps getting cooler each week.  I'm okay with that, but winter can take it's time getting here.  I'm not looking forward to snow :)

I had a pretty quiet week.  I'm finding that, again, I over scheduled my reviews.  I keep doing this.  I'm going to re-evaluate everything by the end of the year and try to make things a bit easier for myself. After all, reading is supposed to be my pleasure and not a job.  However, I really am reading the books that I love to read.  I've been on a lucky run with each book being so good.

I've been doing very well with catching up on my TV shows and doing some binge watching.  I'm all caught up with Criminal Minds, The Blacklist, The Good Wife and Madam Secretary.  Tomorrow I will probably catch up with my Thursday shows.  Then, I have to fit in reading too :)

That's about it from here.  I hope you all have a great week and read many good books!

  1. It's so easy to over-schedule reviews, especially when you've said yes to too many books. But at least you are getting some reads. :) Your haul looks awesome; I want to raid your shelves and your Kindle. :D

  4. I hope your snowy days take their time, too....for years, I envied people on the East Coast. Snow, beautiful "real" fall days, etc. Not any more. LOL

We have our issues here, however; drought, fires, and earthquakes.

Enjoy your books...I love my Sunday TV shows: Madame Secretary, The Good Wife, The Affair...and The Leftovers.

Have a great week. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  9. Yes always hard to draw the line between review books and wanting to slow and enjoy the book you're with. All your books look great and as you say that is a plus.

  10. Are you watching the latest series of Criminal Minds? I've seen some previews and can see there are two new female characters, but it hasn't started yet here in Australia. I wasn't a huge fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt's character so hope the new peeps are more likeable.
