Sunday/Monday Posts - July 10th and 11th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!

It's hard to believe that July 4th has already come and gone.  This week we've had alot of humidity. For the weekend we're having many clouds and a bit of a drop in temperature.  It's not feeling much like beach weather, but that's okay.  There's still more summer to come.

For some reason I haven't been reading alot, but that hasn't stopped me from getting new books - especially Kindle freebies.  I think I'm addicted to them as you can see below.  LOL  I've, also, been busy on the blog with a few blog tours.

I'm pretty caught up on my DVR TV shows, so now I have to catch up on my Netflix shows.  I finally started Orange is the New Black, but only saw the first two episodes of the new season.  I will watch more soon, I'm sure.

Other than that, it's been a pretty quiet week here.  I hope you all are enjoying your summer and have a great week!

Yvonne

  3. Wow, impressive stack of books! I realized that I haven't yet read Hilderbrand's The Castaways. Another to add.

Enjoy your week...and I only watched a few episodes at a time with the new OITNB season...and then couldn't stop until I finished.

  4. You've added some great books to your TBR! I really want to try that Laurie Cass series and the Laura Bradford. Oh and the Victoria Hamilton! I have the first few but haven't read any yet. Read to Death is high on my TBR. I loved the previous book. Have a great week!

  5. Read to Death looks good, I liked the book by Moran that I read. and Murder Book Club and Murder on the High Seas both look fun too. So many good mysteries out there right now. And I've finished up most of my shows so have to find something new on Netflix lol.

  7. It's always fun to see which books we have in common as we like many of the same authors. I spy several new ones I'll be checking out. I started the new season of Orange and am rewatching I Zombie from the beginning. Also rereading some favorite books to take a break and recoup!
