The Weekend Review - February 3rd-5th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

How was your week?  I finally had my CT scan and now I await the results.  I'm glad to have that behind me.

I only finished one book again this week, but it was good.  I'm generally a slow reader, but if the books are good, I figure it's the quality not the quantity that counts :)  Or so I'm trying to make myself believe that.  LOL

I'm halfway through season 6 of Game of Thrones and still enjoying it.  Only two seasons left after this.  I'm still watching Chicago Fire, Med, and PD.  They are always good.  I do have some other shows returning in the next couple of weeks.

Other than that, it's been pretty quiet here.  How about in your corner of the world?  I hope all is well and everyone has a great week.

  9. I hope the CT results are good! I'm a slow reader too. I try to love my books and not compare myself to other readers because I'll never win that comparison.

  12. I'm glad you got your CT scan done. I hope the results give some kind of explanation, but easily treatable, for how you're feeling.

Just so you know, season 7 and 8 are shorter than the others. A lot of people didn't like them as much as the previous seasons. I actually enjoyed them. I look forward to hearing what your overall thoughts are.

    Have a great week!

  17. I hope everything is ok with the scan.

I am a slow reader too. I like to read every word and understand what is going on before moving on 😂

So many books I like the look of on this post!

I hope you have a good week ahead.

  18. I hope your CT scan results are good. And yes, it's absolutely the quality of the books that matters, and whether you enjoy the time you spend reading, not how many books you get through.
