Top Ten Tuesday - April Showers

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

This week's topic is April Showers (Interpret this however you’d like: rainy day reads, books that make you cry, books that give you happy tears, books to wash away a bad reading experience, books set in rainy places, books with rain/raindrops/umbrellas on the cover, blue book covers, etc.)

This was a harder topic than I thought it would be. I love stormy type books, but very few of them had titles or covers with rain. If you asked me for snow than I'd have tons, but we'll leave that for the winter months. Anyway, I went through my e-reader library and found quite a few that I haven't read yet. Now, I want to read them all. I forgot I even had some of these.

If you click on the title, it will take you to their Goodreads page.

What's on your list this week?

  1. An excellent list. I struggled too. I tried rain, umbrellas, water (but they felt too summery) so ended up with blue covers 😂

    Have a great week!

  7. I love a good, stormy book, too! Several of these look interesting, too.

  8. I do enjoy books with storms, but yes, most are winter storms and blizzards. The only one on this list that I've read is Jessica Redland's book and I enjoyed it. I'll have to check some of these out.

  13. Even if it was a challenge, you came up with a great list.

  14. I did water on the cover, which was also hard to find. I found Isaac's Storm by Erik Larson, but I had found another one of his books with water on the cover already so I didn't add that. Good job finding storm covers!

  15. Same! I love a good stormy setting. I was going to do book covers with rain on them, too, but I couldn't find enough either. I went with rain-themed ;)

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
