Top Ten Tuesday - Book Titles That Describe Me/My Life

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

This week's topic is Book Titles That Describe Me/My Life (Example titles: Well-Traveled could describe you if you like to travel, Hotshot Doc could describe you if you’re an awesome doctor, Falling into Place could describe a life where things are starting to work out, An Infinite Love Story could describe your relationship, It Could Have Been Her could describe a thing you’re happy you avoided or a path you could have taken but didn’t. You can explain your choices or not, and they can be as specific or as abstract as you’d like.) (Submitted by Susan @ blogginboutbooks.com)

I didn't think I'd find any books for this one, but I managed to come up with them. These are all books I have read and enjoyed. If you click on the title, it will take you to their Goodreads page.

1. We'll Prescribe You A Cat by Syou Ishida

Reason:  Nothing makes me happier than being with my cats. They fix all that ails me.

Reason: You can't have too many cats!

3. All You Need Is Love by Meg Macy

Reason: I much prefer love than all the sadness going on around the world. Plus, we like Beatles songs.

4. Overnight in the Library by Nina Hunt

Reason: When I had print books, I felt like I was always living in a library.

5. Love You A Latke by Amanda Elliot

Reason: Latkes (potato pancakes) are a food favorite.

Reason: Nothing makes me happier than hearing my kitties purr.

7. The Silence of the Library by Miranda James

Reason: This is how I love to read - in total silence, just like in a library. No music or talking. Just silence and me reading is my idea of perfection.

8. Cruising for Love by Melanie A. Smith

Reason: My husband and I love to cruise.

9. Cruising through Mid Life by Addison Moore

Reason: We go on cruises at least twice a year, so this title seems to fit our current lifestyle.

10. Gotcha! by Wendy Neugent

Reason: This reminds me of adopting my kitties. Adoption Day is called Gotcha Day.

What's on your list this week?

  1. So many wonderful kitty choices. I used to love potato pancakes as a kid. I haven't had them in decades. When is the next cruised planned? Where will you go?

    1. We just came back from a cruise. We went to Puerta Plata, St. Thomas, and Tortola. So much fun.

  2. I loved We'll Prescribe You a Cat so I must look for the sequel. We are catless for the first time in our whole marriage. I enjoy not having to deal with the cat box but miss everything else.

  12. We'll Prescribe You Another Cat is spot on. I actually chose a similar title in my TTT (Herding Cats) because I have 2 cats and a dog so herding them is part of our daily routine 😂

  14. You chose some great ones. I have no idea what to pick, is there a book title similar to a country music song title?

  15. Oh great choices and descriptions. The description of the second one had me laughing. I loved the first so need to pick up the second book. I'm not sure I've ever had a really good latke. I need to fix that!

  16. So fun! I also prefer to read in total silence. I've learned to tune out the noise around me pretty well, but I like it when I don't have to and can just read in peaceful quiet.

    Happy TTT!
