This week's topic is Book Titles That Describe Me/My Life (Example titles: Well-Traveled could describe you if you like to travel, Hotshot Doc could describe you if you’re an awesome doctor, Falling into Place could describe a life where things are starting to work out, An Infinite Love Story could describe your relationship, It Could Have Been Her could describe a thing you’re happy you avoided or a path you could have taken but didn’t. You can explain your choices or not, and they can be as specific or as abstract as you’d like.) (Submitted by Susan @ blogginboutbooks.com)
I didn't think I'd find any books for this one, but I managed to come up with them. These are all books I have read and enjoyed. If you click on the title, it will take you to their Goodreads page.
1. We'll Prescribe You A Cat by Syou Ishida
Reason: Nothing makes me happier than being with my cats. They fix all that ails me.
2. We'll Prescribe You Another Cat by Syou Ishida
Reason: You can't have too many cats!
3. All You Need Is Love by Meg Macy
Reason: I much prefer love than all the sadness going on around the world. Plus, we like Beatles songs.
4. Overnight in the Library by Nina Hunt
Reason: When I had print books, I felt like I was always living in a library.
5. Love You A Latke by Amanda Elliot
Reason: Latkes (potato pancakes) are a food favorite.
6. Let the Purring Begin: Sapphire's Tale by Sallie Cochren
Reason: Nothing makes me happier than hearing my kitties purr.
7. The Silence of the Library by Miranda James
Reason: This is how I love to read - in total silence, just like in a library. No music or talking. Just silence and me reading is my idea of perfection.
8. Cruising for Love by Melanie A. Smith
Reason: My husband and I love to cruise.
9. Cruising through Mid Life by Addison Moore
Reason: We go on cruises at least twice a year, so this title seems to fit our current lifestyle.
10. Gotcha! by Wendy Neugent
Reason: This reminds me of adopting my kitties. Adoption Day is called Gotcha Day.
What's on your list this week?

So many wonderful kitty choices. I used to love potato pancakes as a kid. I haven't had them in decades. When is the next cruised planned? Where will you go?

We just came back from a cruise. We went to Puerta Plata, St. Thomas, and Tortola. So much fun.
DeleteI loved We'll Prescribe You a Cat so I must look for the sequel. We are catless for the first time in our whole marriage. I enjoy not having to deal with the cat box but miss everything else.
ReplyDeleteThe sequel is very much like the first one and really good.
DeleteCats and cruising sounds good to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your #TTT
Add reading to that and it's a perfect life :)
DeleteA great list! I enjoyed your explanations.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

Thanks. You have a great week too!
DeleteOh this does sound hard but fun
ReplyDeleteAt first it was overwhelming but then turned out to be fun.
DeleteI’m beginning to wonder if you like cats. 😂 Good for you for adopting them.
ReplyDeleteYes, cats are a favorite but I do love all animals.
DeleteSuch a fun list! I, too, am a big fan of cats!
ReplyDeleteCats do warm the heart :)
DeleteOh what fun! I love the titles you selected. Beatles fan here too!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved the Beatles. We've been to a few tribute bands and they're fun.
DeleteThis is such a good list. Overnight at the Library is my dream come true.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect place to me.
DeleteSo you like cats? I had no idea. Bwahahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteGreat questions and even greater answers.
Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
I'm surprised you haven't already guessed how much I love cats. LOL You have a great day and week too!
DeleteYou did great! Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteWe'll Prescribe You Another Cat is spot on. I actually chose a similar title in my TTT (Herding Cats) because I have 2 cats and a dog so herding them is part of our daily routine 😂
ReplyDeleteGreat list, Yvonne. I love that your kitties can cure what ails you. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteYou chose some great ones. I have no idea what to pick, is there a book title similar to a country music song title?
ReplyDeleteOh great choices and descriptions. The description of the second one had me laughing. I loved the first so need to pick up the second book. I'm not sure I've ever had a really good latke. I need to fix that!
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I also prefer to read in total silence. I've learned to tune out the noise around me pretty well, but I like it when I don't have to and can just read in peaceful quiet.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Excellent choices! I didn't love We'll Prescribe You A Cat as much as I'd hoped to, but it remains such a good title.
ReplyDeleteThose are all great choices.
ReplyDeleteWe'll Prescribe You A Cat was so good. I need to try the sequel!
ReplyDeleteAh! I love all your kitty titles :-) I only discovered a few years back that I am officially a cat lover and just adore all of our (four) kitties!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! #2 made me giggle.
