Top Ten Tuesday - Books with Handwriting on the Cover

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

This week's topic is Books with Handwriting on the Cover (Or fonts that look like handwriting. Titles, subtitles, covers with letters on them, etc.)

I thought this topic might be too hard to find, but I used Goodreads to come up with a list of books with handwriting on them. Then, I went through the list to see which ones I'd like to read. I was surprised to find I already had a few of these on my TBR.

If you click on the title, it will take you to their Goodreads page.

What's on your list this week?

  1. These look good. I wasn't sure how many I would find, but I've read more than I thought I had 😂

    Have a great week!

  7. Oh man, Queen Betsy on the list! That series took a weird turn near the end, but I still loved it. Lots of fun fonts on these covers, too.

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.

  8. Great choices and two of my all time favorite books! Guernsey and the Christie are books I can reread endlessly. I love a book with handwriting on the cover. It always pulls me in.

  10. I too thought it would be too hard but I was surprised to find so many on my TBR. Seems more frequent than we think. Now I'll be noticing all the time. Usually the cover goes right over my head.

  11. It’s sad handwriting is disappearing, I think it adds interest to what is being read.

  12. Looks like good picks to me! I chose a Christie one too, since I thought it was really interesting how they feature her name like that, a bit like her signature might look (though I've no idea if it's actually a copy).

  13. Nice covers here, Yvonne. I've read a few of them and The Lending Library calls to me.

  14. It is always such a lovely feeling to dig through a specific theme and realize you accidentally already pre-ordered or added a few to your TBR pile months ago without even noticing the cover art style. Connecting the titles directly to their Goodreads pages makes it so easy to browse what you found. My list has a mix of messy thriller fonts and elegant cursive memoirs this week, so I am off to go click through your links to see which titles we might have in common. www.melodyjacob.com

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
