Sunday/Monday Posts - February 21st and 22nd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!

I've been taking it pretty easy this week or at least trying to. I've been sick with a high fever all week and I'm finally starting to come around and feel a bit better. I couldn't even concentrate on reading. The weather has been getting so much nicer, too. Just as I'm starting to feel better, it's supposed to be cold again. So I had to miss our brief period of nice weather because I was sick. Oh well, it will eventually be nice for a whole season :)

I did manage to finally finish a book. I finished No Cats Allowed by Miranda James which was excellent.

I'm pretty caught up with my TV shows and I've been enjoying all of them.  They helped while I was sick and couldn't concentrate on reading.  I did have a chance to see The Martian on DVD and that was a great movie.  I loved it.

So, how was your week?  Read any good books?  Seen any good shows or movies?

Yvonne

  2. Your new books have such tempting titles and covers! Enjoy!

I am pretty caught up on TV shows...enjoying my Thursdays again.

I have also been following the OJ mini-series, but I still feel a little bit angry that his actual trial took over the daytime TV back then...LOL.

Have a great week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  3. I'm sorry to hear that you've been sick. I can't read when I'm sick either so I definitely understand. At least you were able to get caught up on TV! I'm glad to hear you're feeling better even though you missed the warm weather. I've got the Paranormal Museum coming up and I'm looking forward to it and I'm really looking forward to starting Eva Gates' books. Have a great week!

  9. What a great bunch of cozies you have in the wings. I have been reading from my stash and I didn't own a lot of titles of that genre. My reading has been slow, not sure why. Best get busy!
