Sunday/Monday Posts - April 8th and 9th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

Although it's still cold here, it's getting better.  A little warmer, although that word *snow* keeps finding its way into the forecast.  The good thing is that it's been passing us by this week.  Hopefully it will now stay away and let spring finally settle in.

I've been pretty busy with my job so I haven't been around the blog world much this week.  I've just been posting my reviews and any blog tours I was part of.  I have a few giveaways coming up this week.

I just finished reading The Broken Girls, which I loved.  I'll be hosting a giveaway along with my review of it on Monday.

I'm still behind on my TV viewing but I'm slowly catching up.  I'm also catching up on my reading.  So many good books waiting for me to read them.

What have you all been up to?  Reading anything good?  Watching anything good?  I hope you all have a great week.

Yvonne

  1. The Broken Girls is on my list...hope to get to it soon.

My reading this week was not that impressive...two books! But I enjoyed them both.

Currently I'm reading an Irish cozy mystery, A Turn for the Bad, by Sheila Connolly.

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  4. I'm curious to see your thoughts on The Girl I Used to Be. I enjoyed a previous book by her. The Broken Girls is on my TBR. It sounds fantastic. Snow in April is ridiculous! It's a little warmer than that here in the south but not by much. We should not still be getting freeze warnings! Have a great week!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
