The Weekend Review - September 14th-16th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

I don't know about the rest of you, but we are still getting warm summery type weather.  That's fine with me :)

I spent the week continuing to pack for our move to a new home.  It's tiring, but we are getting a little done each day and hopefully we'll be done before we know it.  We sure accumulated a lot of stuff ove the years.

I still managed to finish two books this week.  Both were really good.  I also picked up a couple more Kindle freebies.

The only weekly show I've been watching is Chesapeake Shores on Hallmark.  It's been good.  Eventually I'd like to finish reading the series.  It's very different from the TV show.

Other than that, it's been the same old here.  How have you been?  See or read anything good?  Hope you all have a great week!

Yvonne

  1. Your books look good. I love Chesapeake Shores, too, and I should check out the books.

Good luck with the packing...it is tedious, but eventually is done.

    Have a great week.

  2. It's been kinda still warm here but the nights have definitely been cooling down! You can tell fall is in the air yikes. I'm not in a hurry for it to get cold though. :)

    Good luck with packing!

  3. It's been warm here, but then again it's always warm here in September. And October. Usually. It's fine with me, but I must admit I am looking forward to cooler weather.

I can't imagine all the packing and sorting you must be doing right now. I pray every day that we will never have to move again.

Oh, The Bodies in the Library. Oh my! Enjoy it!

  5. It’s starting to warm up here, though nights are still quite cool. We desperately need some rain though. Summer is three months off and we are already on water restrictions

Have a great reading week, and good luck with the continuing task of packing

  6. The wind will be out of the north this week so 75-85 instead of 80-90 YAY. I am slowly progressing on my unpacking. So slowly. Good luck with all your packing. Happy reading.
