The Weekend Review - July 24-26th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a great week.  Mine has been quiet again.  Nothing exciting going on here but that's okay with me.  I don't particularly like excitement.

On Amazon Prime Video I just "discovered" a reboot of Mad About You with Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt.  I used to love that show in the '90's and so glad to see they brought it back even for just a few episodes.  I feel like it picks up right where it left off.  Love it.

I finished two books this week.  Both were really good.

Not much else going on here.  What's happening in your part of the world?  I hope you all have a great week!

  1. Oh my gosh I remember that show. It's been AGES.

Both of those books you finished look great, and I like the look of My Darling Husband as well. Looks tense!

Hope you are well this week!

  2. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who is a big fan of quiet and calm weeks! I had a kinda stressful one and am now being very slow to make up for it. 'Such a Good Wife' looks amazing and I'll try and pop back to see your thoughts on 'My Darling Husband'!

  4. I never saw Mad About You when it was a show on network tv, but I recently got curious about it and watched a couple of episodes. I like the relationship between the couple.

Beaches, Bungalows, and Burglaries looks like a lot of fun. Perfect summer read.

    Have a great week, Yvonne.

  5. Great thriller covers on your blog. I have vowed not to read certain genres this summer but as usual the heart is weak and I'll take a look at yours.

  14. Things aren't very quiet here, but sometimes that's good, too. Not a lot of reading going on, but at least I am not behind in my reviews.

Red Roses and Bloody Noses sounds cute. Many of your blog tour books seem interesting. Hope you enjoy them.
