The Weekend Review - October 14th-16th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

Nothing has changed as far as my health goes.  I'm feeling fine and I'm still waiting to go for the CT scan.  Since I feel fine, I'm hoping to be back to blogging full time soon.  I'm keeping the blog tours to a minimum until the end of the year, but I think I'm going to start participating in weekly memes again.  I miss them.  I'm taking it slow, though, just in case they still want to do surgery.

I finished two books this week.  Both were good ones.  I picked up some Kindle freebies that look good.

I was really happy to see the TV show Transplant return this week.  I always enjoyed this hospital show and was wondering what happened to it.  So glad it came back.  Still enjoying Survivor too.

It's still humid here so I haven't been able to walk, but they say cooler days are coming so maybe I'll finally have a chance to walk and listen to audiobooks again.

Other than that, it's been quiet here.  I hope you all have a great week!

  3. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Keeping blogging flexible sounds like a great idea so you can do whatever you need to do for your health. I need to figure out how to go back to that myself. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed again.

  10. Glad you are doing okay, keep us posted on the surgery (hopefully not!). I am walking with my son, he had surgery and is on restrictions, so I can't listen to my audio books. I miss them, but also enjoying the walks with him. Have a great week!

  25. I do hope you get an all clear soon. It's not fun to have to suspend life while waiting for medical people to decide what to do.
