The Weekend Review - July 13th-July 15th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

We're already in mid-July.  The summer is going so fast.  Seems like everyone is dealing with very hot and humid weather.  I hope you are all doing well and surviving the heat, if you are going through it.

I only finished one book this week.  It's probably because I've been binging on Outlander.  It's so good.  If the books weren't so big, I'd be reading them.  Who knows, maybe I will at some point.

I, also, saw one movie this week.  Beekeeper with Jason Stratham.  It was really good.

Other than that, I've just been staying home and trying to be cool.  I hope you all have a great week!

  2. I hope very hot doesn't turn into very cold as I much prefer the hot to cold...lol. I freeze all winter and get very moody.
Hope you liked Ellen Byron's new book I can't wait to read it!

  9. We're have some sunshine at present, although the earlier part of the week was cool and rainy. I've been watching Wimbledon tennis, so I haven't read much either this week. Glad you're enjoying Outlander so much and have a great week.

  10. My husband and I watched BEEKEEPER when it was in the theater. We both thought it was good, but it's not our favorite Statham movie. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I haven't read or watched Outlander yet. I've heard a lot of good things. I really need to check one or the other or both out sometime.

    Have a great week!

  12. I've been wanting to watch Outlander, but I keep telling myself I should read the books first. Don't know if that will happen anytime soon, though, so I guess I should just watch it!

  14. Summer is going really fast. I'm not mad about that. It was 100 degrees this weekend, and I spent it doing traffic control. It was awful.
