The Weekend Review - May 10th-12th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!

It's been a good week...a quiet one.  I finished two books.  I absolutely loved The Book Club for Troublesome Women by Marie Bostwick.  It's my favorite book of the year so far.  I have to look at this author's backlist and read more of her work.

I finally finished binging Knots Landing.  I'll start Falcon Crest soon.  I watched all my regular shows this week Survivor and Chicago Fire, PD and Med.  I'm happy to see Criminal Minds return this week.  The first episode was really good.

Other than that, not much else is going on.  I hope you all have a great week!

  3. I'm delighted to hear how much you enjoyed The Book Club for Troublesome Women. My husband saw that title at one of the bookstores when we were doing the bookstore crawl and he suggested I buy it...hmmm...wondering why...lol

  6. Happy Mother's Day to a wonderful cat mom! I am so mad that a lot of shows we like got canceled like The Irrational and Found.

  7. I like the sound of The Book Club for Troublesome Women.

I am almost finished with Season 7 of Falcon Crest. As always, some of the characters are very annoying to me, and right now, I'm disliking Emma Channing almost as much as her mother Angela, lol.
