The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
Another week is over and we get closer to the end of the year. I just can't believe how fast time goes. I can't believe I'm already starting to watch Hallmark Christmas movies. It seems kind of early but I know it's not.
I only finished one book this week. Besides the Hallmark movies and my regular shows, I'm also binging on the second season of Tracker. I seem to be all over the place these days.
Another thing I've been doing is organizing and re-organizing my books. I used to love doing that when I had physical books, now I seem to be doing it with my ebooks. I've been creating shelves for all my ebooks and placing them on there. My time would be so much better spent just reading my books. LOL I'm good at procrastinating and being distracted.
For right now, I've decided to continue hosting all the reading challenges I do every year in 2026. I host Cruisin' thru the Cozies, NetGalley & Edelweiss, What An Animal and The Purrfect Reading Challenges. I still have plenty of time to set them up, but at least I've decided to continue hosting those.
Aside from a doctor's appointment this week, I don't have much planned. I hope you all have a great week!

I reorganized all my physical books last winter. I had fun, but it took DAYS.
ReplyDeleteI love reorganizing books as well! Nothing wrong with organizing them on the ereader, it helps to remember what is there. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a smart move to organise and account for your ebooks. It's all to easy to amass a HUGE library of ebooks and have them completely unlogged and/or sorted. Then you can find yourself rereading books by mistake - or even worse - buying books you've already read... Not that I'm speaking from experience - much! Have a great week, Yvonne.
ReplyDeleteReorganizing books is my favorite de-stressing activity! I enjoyed Death at the Door and I'm so curious about the Jenn McKinlay. I've really enjoyed everything I've read by her. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI have an organization system in Goodreads so I can find my books of all formats. They go on the proper shelves when I get them. For me, it's too early for Christmas and holiday books. I have to wait until at least after Halloween and often until after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Sometimes I wish that I could organize all of my physical books, but I gave them all away and have opted in for online books. I was really close to getting some physical books at the library again, but I really don’t like the nagging feeling of having to think about returning books at the library and the deadline.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how we can always find something else to do besides what we probably should do?
ReplyDeleteI hope the doctor appointment goes well.
I am loving your honesty about your ebooks! This is sooo me! I think true book lovers do this and you are very normal, lol. I say that to myself all the time “read! Why are you organizing/looking at them instead of actually reading?” So glad to hear I’m not alone. It’s just fun to do isn’t it?
ReplyDeleteI don’t have the room to organise my physical books, they get put wherever they fit!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy reading week
I use LibraryThing to keep track of my books. I've set up collections and sort each new arrival into one or the other of them. I also have collections on my Kindle to help me organize. Even so, I am constantly discovering books I'd forgotten I owned when I go looking for something new to read. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe we are almost in November, Yvonne. Where does the time go? I like how you are organizing your e-books. I should do that. Happy reading!

I think sometimes that I enjoy organizing things as much as I like doing things---I know I enjoy organizing my books as much as I enjoy reading them!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you decided to keep on hosting your challenges for next year.
I love organizing books so I totally understand wanting to organize your ebook as well. How are you doing it? By Genre or something different? I’m also interested in Witches of Dubious Origin, I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHere's me this week: https://darkshelfofwonders.com/its-monday-lets-catch-up-%e2%94%8210/
I make shelves on my e-reader and usually separate by genres. Have a great week!
