My Review
Detective Whiskers is back for another fun-filled adventure. This time he is being followed by a calico kitten named Penelope. She wants to be a sleuth just like Whiskers. He’s more than happy to show her the ropes, as well as show off his sleuthing skills.
In his new role as Head of Security at his human’s hotel, the Parrot Eyes Inn, Whiskers comes and goes as he pleases. He's a little surprised that Penelope is usually one step ahead of him, plus she's fearless and takes many risks. Together they investigate a dead body and the disappearance of some items that belong to the Inn's guests. It’s a very busy day for the new sleuthing team.
This series is pure fun, and this book (#7 in the series) is no different. It keeps you smiling and laughing through each page. The author keeps it fresh by adding new characters - both human and animals. This is one of my favorite series and it’s perfect if you want to sit back and just have a good time.
