Musing Mondays - TBRs

If you'd like to play along on Musing Mondays, just click the button above to join in.

This week’s musing asks…

What book tops your TBR (to be read) pile right now? Is it something you own, or something you have to borrow, or something you’ll be purchasing? Why do you want to read it so badly?

My answer...

The next book on my TBR is a review book "Synarchy Book 2: The Ascension" by DCS. I read and reviewed the first book last year and it was really good. So, I'm looking forward to reading this one.

The blurb from the back of the book...

“We're villains, as much as we are capable of being heroes…”

A lifetime ago, Stefano Vasco Terenzio saw one way to maneuver his family into a game of betrayal against an unbeatable enemy; walking into a bullet. A generation later, as the clock ticks closer to December 21st, 2012, what started with one man's ego will determine the fate of the whole world.

For centuries, The Brotherhood and their Gods, the Anunnaki, have hidden in plain sight among us. For centuries, they have lied, sacrificed men by the thousands, and kept humanity imprisoned within the illusion of freedom. Now, they will stop at nothing to keep their control of planet Earth.

“When the moments come that we can soften the blow of our sins, we’ve got to take them.” - SVT

Sounds like an exciting book.
