This week's question...
So other than books … what periodicals do you read? Magazines? Newspapers? Newsletters? Journals?
Do you subscribe? Or do you buy them on the newsstand when they look interesting?
My answer...
The only magazine I subscribe regularly to is Romantic Times so I can see what books are coming up in the near future and make my shopping list. Other than that, I just read things online when I see them.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

I do enjoy magazines (and the newspaper) but I feel bad that I don't always have enough time to read them cover to cover. I have too many "reading materials"!
ReplyDeletenever heard of it, but sounds interesting. Here's my BTT
ReplyDeleteI love this picture!
ReplyDeleteI don't read magazines very often, unless I'm at my Mom's. She has a bunch and I'm usually bored enough to peruse them.
ReplyDeleteI used to read magazines. Then I realized that most of them are insulting to women and focus on the "size" of womens bodies, rather then our accomplishments. I grew disgusted with the thin eating disordered looking young girls always featured on covers and lack of real women, or real issues, as if anyone would want to look up to their ideals!
ReplyDeleteI opted out of all of them. Now none of them interest me. I feel when I read them, that I am not learning and am "dumbing down" my intelligence. Once you stay away from them when you pick them up nothing appeals especially if you are a dedicated Biblophile of the written word! Now I stay with my stacks of books and also read online daily newspapers. I found out that when you subscribe to a magazine, they sell your private subscriber information to other companies for a profit. Ever wonder why you get all junk mail and offers? That is why. They also give private information to prisons for the prisioners to process junk mailings. That means all manner of bad people are having access to subscriber private addressess , who are usually women most of us living alone. Not good for our safety!
I love this picture!
I read newspapers daily and magazines once in a while!!
ReplyDeleteHere is my BTT post!
