Do you have any hobbies outside of reading?
Or do you collect anything?
My answer...
Besides reading, I like to watch TV and movies. Is that a hobby? I sometimes cross stitch, but I haven't done that in awhile.
As for collections, I collect various different cat items like statues and knick knacks. Plus, I have a collection of dolls - different Barbies and porcelain dolls, also teddy bears. I haven't added to these collections in a long time, but I do have a nice amount that I already collected over the years.
How about you? Do you have other hobbies or collections?
Hobbies other than reading....gardening in summer and shopping in winter LOL

I forgot to include my bears in my collections! Yes, I have quite a few. Some are in the garage.

ReplyDeleteI have never crossed stitched, but love the items others make. At this stage in my life I don't do much collecting unless books count.

ReplyDeleteOh my yes. I cross stitch, crochet, and knit a little along with making my own arrows and learning how to make long bows. As for collecting, I love anything Mickey Mouse, cows, turtles, and jewelry.
ReplyDeleteBooks, of course. Can't stop collecting them. I like movies and T.V. shows too. I have lots of puzzle books and bath products. I've got stuffed animals but haven't been accumulating more. Haven't done cross stitch lately, but I should. I can only do the stamped kind with X's. I love cats and have some. I've done scrapbooking and have rubber stamp supplies. I've also done stamp collecting (postage stamps).
ReplyDeleteI collect magazines. I have too many, but the subscriptions I've been getting for a few years are all free from taking surveys online or entering codes online.
I have lots of stuff; too much in fact!
Aww I love teddy bears! I should have added stuffed animals to my list of hobbies, because I do love them, although I do not collect specific ones like a real collector would. I just think they're cute!
ReplyDeleteMy hobby outside of reading is working out. I work out about 2 hours a day, early morning and evening for the health benefits and to lose the weight caused by sitting and reading! I do not watch TV (hate it) so I have time. I live in 600 square feet studio so no collections possible for me. I dream of a house where I can have a display of my Mom and Grandmothers china and vintage items.

ReplyDeleteI have an autograph collection, some of which are books, some on pictures and some on playbills. I collect books and owls also. I watch tv, have not done needlework in a bit but can embroider, do counted cross stitch, knit and crochet.
