Teaser Tuesdays - June 25th

If you'd like to play along on Teaser Tuesdays, just click the button above.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week I'm reading...

Nora Timothy sat up, her heart racing.

Something had frightened her. There! Bangs, crashes. A shriek, cut off. That was the sound that had woken her.

  1. Good teaser--those are scary noises!

    Here's ours: http://ourstack.blogspot.com/2013/06/tuesday-teasers-four-for-you.html

  2. Hmmm...gets me thinking!

    Here is ours: http://debdebreviews.wordpress.com/2013/06/25/teaser-tuesday-june-25-2/

  3. That would wake me...and I'd probably not get back to sleep...ever! Sounds very intense.

  4. What a cover. And a 'bang' moment teaser! Great stuff. :-)

  5. That would wake me too. I wonder what happened. Here are my teasers from River Road by Suzanne Johnson and Beautifully Broken by Sherry Soule. Happy reading!

  6. What a terrible way to be awakened! Will she go back to sleep, get up to investigate, or call the cops?
My Teaser is from ORPHAN TRAIN.

  7. Well. That would certainly wake me up! My teaser: Caroline Takes a Chance

  8. Great teaser. I will only be adding to my TBR pile!!

    Here is my post

  9. Not a good way to wake up! But a good teaser....

  10. Would not want to wake up to those type of noises. Great tease.

  11. Oh goodness...that would be a scary way to wake up!
