Teaser Tuesdays - June 4th

If you'd like to play along on Teaser Tuesdays, just click the button above.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week I'm reading...

The first line of the book drew me right in....

"I could kill him."

  1. LOVE that opener! You've gotta wonder: Is that said as an exaggeration or is someone stating their intentions?
My Teaser is from THE COMEBACK KISS.

  2. Great teaser! Here is my teaser for this week.

  3. Ohhh. Are we meant to like the heroine or not? Lol.

  4. whoa that line would immediately pique my interest

    my teaser tuesday

  5. That is a strong start! C'mon, give us the second line too!

    Here's ours:

  6. That's a great opening line, thanks for sharing!
Here's my teaser for this week!

  7. Short and sweet. Good opener.

  8. What an opener! Sounds great.

  9. The book opened with that line? Wow. Very intense... and that would make me read more of it.

Thanks for hopping by my Tuesday Teaser this week.

  10. Love a simple line that packs a punch. Thanks for sharing...and here'sMY TUESDAY MEMES POST

  11. Good opening! Have been intrigued by a few of her books, but have not yet read her. My teaser: The Wizard of Oz

  12. Insurgent by Veronica Roth, pg. 213

Teasing between siblings should feel familiar, but it doesn't for us. Abnegation discouraged anything that might make someone feel uncomfortable, and teasing was included.

  13. Is it bad that your quote immediately made me think "She's met my husband??"

Here's my Teaser Tuesday Zenn Scarlett

Mei @ Diary of a Fair Weather Diver

  14. That is definitely an attention grabbing first sentence.

  15. Wow well that would grab my attention from the get go!
