Sunday/Monday Posts - June 14th and 15th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

A very slow week for me.  My mind has totally been with thoughts of my father.  One day he looks well, one day not.  He's been in the hospital for two months and that's a long time.

I don't have any blog tours for next week.  I didn't intentionally plan it that way, it just happened.  I'll probably be on and off the blog all week.  It's a difficult time for me and my family, so I might vanish from the blog temporarily.

I do hope you all have a great week!

Yvonne

  6. I'm really sorry to hear your dad's up and down. It's surprisingly stressful and exhausting mentally as well as physically in those situations. Take care. xx

  7. Two months is a very long time to be in the hospital. I am sorry to hear about that. When something like that is going on blogging, reading, shopping and pretty much everything else often takes, and should take, a back seat. Reading can provide a distraction although I find it easier to read short stories or novellas when my head is wrapped up in something like family crisis.

  10. I wish all the best for your father and hope he improves soon. It's hard on the family as well to watch their loved one go through this time.

By the way, thanks so much for the giveaway bundle that I received yesterday! My husband brought the mail in last night when he picked up my daughter at work, and I was already in bed, but I opened that package and had so much fun looking over the selections to start that I couldn't fall asleep. Thanks again for your kindness!
