The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
Happy Sunday!
As summer approaches our weather gets nicer and nicer all the time. Still hard to believe we are halfway through the year but we are.
I tried once again to listen to an audio book in the car and I'm having success with listening to The Blue Bistro by Elin Hilderbrand. I always enjoy her books. The other books were just too hard to concentrate on in the car, but it might also have been a moody thing. I intend to read those books in print or possibly try listening to again at a later time.
I'm really enjoying watching Bloodline on Netflix. The new season of Orange is the New Black will be on Friday. I'm looking forward to watching that one again. I also look forward to Longmire, but I'm not sure when that starts.
I've been watching quite a few movies on DVD. One that I will be watching soon is Pride + Prejudice + Zombies. I've been wanting to read the book, but never had a chance. Instead I'll watch the movie. The commercials look good.
Other than that, nothing much is new around here. How are things with everyone else? I hope you all have a great week and read many great books.
Yvonne

ReplyDeleteNice haul this week. Enjoy. Like the cover of the cats book!
ReplyDeleteI watched the first season of Orange is the New Black but haven't watched any more. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it. I haven't seen Bloodline but am keen to do so.
ReplyDeleteGreat new books! I enjoyed The Blue Bistro, too. And I loved Bloodline...finished the second season the weekend it came out...lol.
ReplyDeleteOITNB is one I'm eager to watch, too.
Enjoy! Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I liked Bloodline and just wish there were unlimited episodes to watch. I guess the dysfunctional (that might be an understatement) family dynamic has me hooked. And I watched the first episode of Longmire and I'm intrigued- I may be binging that one.
ReplyDeleteTea Cuos and Carnage looks good and so does the black cat book.
I love Elin Hilderbrand's books on audio. I cannot believe 2016 is half over already either!
ReplyDeleteI usually listen to Elin's books on audio. They are always enjoyable. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYou always have such interesting cat-related titles on your shelf! Wish I had the time to check all of them out. Here's what's on my list this week: http://justasecondblog.blogspot.com/2016/06/what-im-reading-june-13-2016.html
ReplyDeleteLots of titles to chose from! We have been wondering about Bloodline and are anxiously awaiting the new Longmire season as wee.
ReplyDeleteSo many books! I hope you enjoy them all :)

There's a lot of great books you have here. I hope you enjoy them. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI must try Elin Hildebrand on audio some time. Sounds like a good choice for the car. I enjoyed Linny's Sweet Dream List far more than I thought I would.
ReplyDeleteWHat a great collection of fun cozy mysteries!
ReplyDeleteYou sure find a lot of books with cats :)
