The Weekend Review - August 15th-17th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

I can't say there's much to report this week.  It's been a quiet week as we continue to stay at home for the most part.  With a few exceptions, we've just been staying safe.

I've been busy hosting blog tours this month.  Mostly spotlights, but a few reviews too.  I've been reading some good books and there looks to be more good stuff waiting for me to read.  I haven't been doing much TV watching - mainly baseball and my two soaps.  I have been watching some true life ER shows on the TLC network (I think that's what it's called).  They are shows about actual ER cases that have been interesting.  Mostly I've been blogging and reading, though.

So, what have you been up to this week?  Read or watch anything good?  I hope you all have a great week!

  2. My life feels like it has slowed to a crawl. But in a lot of ways that is good. I like the slowness. I miss being able to do things with others, though.

I'm glad you are able to stay busy with your reading, your book tours, and blogging. I have been relying on blogging for companionship. Thank you so much for sharing what is going on in your life during this crazy time.

  3. I've lost all sense of time, I think. What day is it?

At least we have our books for comfort. You always have a bunch that look great. Who could resist Bark Once for Murder?

    Have a good week, Yvonne!

  5. I've mostly been staying in too except when I have to go out, although I've ventured out a bit more lately. It's nerve wracking though and if they ever say we can go without masks I think I'll be leery of doing so lol.

Love that cover of Wrecked by Rum! :)

I haven't read anything by Lisa Ungerer yet, but I have two or her books on my kindle.

You have such great books on your list! Hope they all make you very happy.

Enjoy your week and here's my The Sunday Post #7
