It's that simple.
I'm also joining in Book Beginnings on Friday. It's hosted by Rose City Reader.
I'm hoping to read this one soon. It's been on my e-reader TBR for a long time.
First Chapter
"That's highway robbery!" Isaac Hobbs protested.
Isaac was a tall, husky man in his early sixties. He was staring down at Caprice De Luca as if she'd pulled one of those antique knives from the locked case by the door and threatened him with it.
From 56% on my Kindle...
The hairs on the back of Caprice's neck prickled. Nana had told her that was a sign of her sixth sense at work.
Synopsis from Goodreads:
Cozy mystery, Book 1 in the Caprice DeLuca home-stager mystery series
Caprice DeLuca stages houses for high-end clients. When she discovers a body in the castle-mansion she staged to sell and starts asking questions, she finds herself in danger. On the way to solving the murder, Caprice's large Italian family helps and hinders. She also finds romance with Dr. Seth Randolph. But does her brother's partner, attorney Grant Weatherford, care about her, too? Or is he just worried she'll get herself killed and her family will blame him?
What do you think? What are you sharing today?
Ooh there seems to be a lot going on for Caprice! I do love the cover with the cat and puppy, but somehow I've still not gotten into cozy mysteries! Maybe this one will do the trick :D I hope you have a lovely start to the weekend and do drop by my Friday post if you have the time! - Juli @ A Universe in Words
