The Weekend Review - May 1st - May 3rd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Hi Everyone!

Our weather is still nice in Florida.  Seems like everyday it gets warmer here.

Until I started putting this post together, I didn't realize how busy I was this week.  I finished reading four books and posted my reviews.  That's a record for me 😀  We also celebrated my furbaby, Kit's, 4th birthday.  She enjoyed herself 😄  I explained it's just a once a year thing, not every day.  LOL

I finished another audio book during my walk, but I haven't chosen what I will be listening to next.  I'm sure it will be another cozy.

As for what I've been watching...  I watched the new Superman and Lois series.  It's only 5 episodes so far, but it was good.  I caught up with Manifest.  I started losing interest earlier in the season, but now I'm back.  The Blacklist is always good.  Other good shows this week:  The Resident, 911, and Big Sky.

That's about it from here.  I hope you all have a great week!  Take care and stay safe.

  1. Your reading speed looks very amazing. Since being vaccinated, my reading has slowed way down. I'm happy to have other things that I can do safely!

  19. I'm rereading a contemporary fantasy series via Audible these days. It's nice to listen to them back to back instead of having to wait a year between episodes. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  20. I wish you could send some of your Florida warmth up to the Pacific Northwest! It's not horrible here, but I would definitely welcome warmer weather! I have been getting out for more walks, which is helping me to stay on top of my audiobooks and podcasts.
