The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
The humidity isn't too bad in my part of Florida right now. It's really nice. Unfortunately I've had a very bad cold all week so I haven't been able to enjoy it. I will soon though.
I did manage to complete two books, so that's good. I even managed to write my reviews so I wouldn't forget the books. I'll post them later in the week.
I've been watching my TV shows and they've been good. Baseball season is over for me since my team is out of it. That just leaves me more reading time :)
Basically, I've been just trying to rest this week. How have you all been? Read or see anything good this week? I hope everyone has a great week!

Glad to hear the humidity has come down in your part of Florida. We have had some cool, fallish days this week which has been nice. This week I read Diary of a Young Naturalist by Dana McAnulty. It chronicles a year in the life of a fourteen year old boy who is autistic and spends much time in the natural world. I really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend!

ReplyDeleteWow! Congrats on managing to write AND REVIEW books while suffering from a bad cold. I've never been able to read when sick for some reason. All I can do is sleep. Hope you're feeling better soon and can get out and enjoy your low-humidity weather! It got down into the 30's last night here in Arkansas so I had to turn on the heat! Daytime temps outside are perfect, however.
ReplyDeleteGlad the humidity is dying down. I love summer but the humidity is the worst.
