The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
We always say how time is flying and it's true. Now, I'm getting more and more requests for Christmas type blog tours. I'm in denial, it feels too soon. Of course that doesn't stop me from agreeing to them 😀
Our humidity returned and then the rain came (it did nothing to lessen the humidity, though). So, my walking time has been very limited which means I haven't gone back to audiobooks yet. I've actually read three books this week. That's a good thing 😀 I'm trying not to get too far behind on my Goodreads challenge and I'm doing well, so far.
I've also managed to keep up with my TV show watching - The Resident (what a tearjerker this week), Chicago shows (Med, Fire and PD), Survivor, Station 19, Grey's Anatomy, 911, and NCIS. I still have a few shows to watch like Blue Bloods.
It's been a pretty good week. I hope yours was too and that you have a great upcoming week.

I'm looking forward to some Christmasy mysteries hopefully with holiday season approaching. Thinking of doing the Hohoho readathon so I need some good picks for that ha ha. I'll probably get some ideas from your blog!
ReplyDeleteCat on the Case looks fun.
Nice bunch. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteI hope you continue to enjoy your reading and viewing, and that the weather will allow you to get back to your daily walks and audiobooks. Take care and happy reading! 🙂
ReplyDeleteI also received Blog Tours for Christmas and it made me so giddy and happy! I LOVE Christmas. I'm going to London for Christmas this year and I'm so excited <3
ReplyDeleteOoh you've been very busy! Humidity is the worst, I hated it when I lived in China. It truly does stop you from doing anything! Also, yes, it does feel way too early for Christmas blog tours xD All your upcoming reads look great, I hope you enjoy them and have a lovely week :)

The Resident made me cry. Blue Bloods makes me feel we are heading to a finale.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of The Secret of Snow. Will have to take a closer look.
ReplyDeleteStill a bit cold here with us, but apparently we can expect warmer weather this upcoming week.
Have a good week Yvonne and happy reading!

It's interesting that they are already lining up blog tours for Christmas books. But everyone does love reading Christmas books, even if it's not Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get a cool front in soon, and that generally brings rain. We've sure enjoyed our nice weather last week.
We started watching the Stanley Tucci series on the foods of Italy. It's fabulous.
So many tempting titles! Thanks for sharing, and enjoy your week of books and viewing.
ReplyDeleteHere are my WEEKLY UPDATES
I'd be in denial about approaching xmas as well, although I do love hallmark movies and xmas related books. My fav Lily and Dash book of Dares. Give it a try if you haven't already.
ReplyDeleteIt does seem too soon for holiday/Christmas books but I suppose it really isn't. I think I'm in denial too. :-) I am caught up on 911 too. I'm really worried about Maddie. I hope you enjoy your reading and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI feel you on the rain. It poured all week where I live that I am surprised we didn't have major flooding.
ReplyDeleteChristmas will be here before we know it and I am not ready.

I've seen THE MOTHER NEXT DOOR around on instagram and on a few blogs. I'll have to check that one out! - Melinda @ A Web of Stories
ReplyDeleteAh yes all those Christmas books for tours! I only said yes to one. I tend not to do Spotlights and I knew I couldn't read all of them in time. Plus I had already pre-ordered some of them and decided to let those go as well.
ReplyDeleteI’m not ready to think about Christmas yet.
ReplyDeleteI’m torn between watching returns weekly or waiting for a few episodes so I can binge
Wishing you a great reading week
I think it is a little early for Christmas books too. I do prefer them to scary books though which seem to dominate October. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI always think I will read more Christmas books than I do. So funny since I love Christmas.
ReplyDeleteGreat books this week. The Case of the Banishing Spell and The Matzah Ball caught my eye.
Hope you have a great week.

ReplyDeleteI'm on my 2nd Christmas mystery and I agree it's too soon! I'm not ready to think about Thanksgiving much less Christmas! Have a great week!
