The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone! Happy Valentine's Day!
We're already at the mid-point of February. I can see time is flying once again. I don't seem to be reading as much as I would like but I'm hoping that will change.
My blog has been keeping me busy. I haven't been watching much TV this week. Probably because most of my shows haven't been on, but that's okay. I needed a break from TV anyway :)
We managed a trip to the local zoo which was fun. I will post pictures soon. My husband and I bought bicycles this week. This should be fun and, also, great exercise.
Not much else is happening in my world. I hope you all have a great week! Stay safe!

I love zoos! If there is a zoo in a city we are visiting it is always top of my to do list. I haven't been watching much tv lately either. Nothing really seems to be grabbing my attention other then some youtube channels. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteTime really is flying and I also feel like I've fallen behind on reading but also like everything else xD You've got some great-sounding books lined up I see, I hope you enjoy them! Thanks for sharing and have a lovely weekend :)

Have a wonderful week! I can't believe it's mid- February either.
ReplyDeleteI saw a review this week for Jousting and it looks fun! So does Lying Club.
I like the zoo, though it’s been years, though it’s been even longer since I’ve been on a bike.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week
Enjoy your new bicycles. I have a new-ish purple bicycle that I love, but I haven't been on it since it got cold here. The first warm sunny day!
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll read Valentine Murder next. It's perfect timing, I think.
Whitney Dineen is an author I want to read! I haven't been to our zoo in a long time, like since before the pandemic started, and we used to go at least once a year, even had a Friends of the Zoo membership for several years. Hope you have a great week!

Great week, I have 2 tours this week myself!
ReplyDeleteI've just finished and reviewed Jousting and Justice! It was soooo good! I loved it.
ReplyDeleteBicycles?? Oh yes! That can only be fun. Send photos.
Have a good week ahead!

I used to love Valentine's day when my mother would hand us all valentine's candy. It's still a great but my son's school is not participating , they want to celebrate friendship instead (no candy)
ReplyDeleteOoo I hope you will have fun going out on your new bikes! Also take care and happy reading in the coming week. 🙂
ReplyDeleteFebruary! Right? where did it go? I hope you have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteI love zoos! There is one south of us in Naples, but we haven't been there yet. Hope you enjoy the new bicycles. We got some when we moved to FL, too. So far my husband rides a lot more than I do. My reading has been slower than I'd hoped this year, but I'm sure it will pick up eventually. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got to go to the zoo. I need to do something like that to get out. I'm feeling very isolated lately. I hope you get more reading done like you want to this next week.
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
i see some good books, but jousting and justice caught my eye and looks like fun reading

A trip to the zoo sounds so fun! Enjoy your bikes, that's a great way to spend some time outside. Hope you are able to get more reading in this week.
ReplyDeleteIs it Valentine's Day already?! It always sneaks up on me. I am glad you were able to get out to the zoo and had a good time. My husband has been talking about wanting to go again. We won't have a free weekend until the end of March though--so will have to wait until then. I hope you have a great week, Yvonne! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteYea! I didn't know that Manansala's book was out already! I enjoyed her first one. My husband may be retiring in 33 days, so you can bet that The Not So Golden Oldies caught my eye!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing your zoo photos. The Olympics is really messing up tv. XO
ReplyDeleteHope you will get lots of exercise from those bicycles, should be fun.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of The Not So Golden Oldies. Enjoy your week, and those bicycles!
ReplyDeleteI love visiting the zoo. Hope you enjoy your bikes.
ReplyDeleteIt's My Party, The Move Star Becomes A Cowboy, and This Might Hurt all look good. Hope you enjoy your books.

The Golden Oldies does that go with the Twist and Shout book? I like the oldies, lol.😀I like the tours you have coming up! I have 2 this week also! Happy Valentine's Day!😍
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new bikes. I have purchased a few over the years but have never ridden much. There's too much traffic where I live now to risk my life on a bike. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day! The Olympics does mess up the TV schedule. I wish I was watching less TV, but I've just been watching the Olympics instead of my normal stuff.
