The Weekend Review - April 23rd-25th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

It's been a quiet week for me.  Our weather is nice, but I haven't been feeling 100% so no walking and listening to audio books for me.  I'll be back to it soon though.

I only finished one book this week.  It was a good one.  Hopefully I'll get a chance to read more this week.

I've been catching up on some TV shows but I still have a few on my DVR that needs to be watched.  I've mostly been watching baseball.

Not too much going on here.  Like I said, it's been quiet.  How has your week been?  I hope you all have a great upcoming week!

  1. I just finished CLAWS FOR SUSPICION this week myself, and I enjoyed it.

Sorry you haven't been feeling sick. Hope you feel better this week.

  2. Quiet weeks can be nice. Hope you're feeling better.

The Edge of Summer by Viola shipman looks good and if I'm not mistaken it's set in Michigan so I'm kinda interested :)

  3. I also a chilled and quite week, where I finished reading one book, which was the Christian non-fiction Pray For Us by Meg Hunter-Kilmer.

Take care and happy reading in the coming week. 🙂

  4. I love the look of all your cute cozies with the funny titles. I have found Allison Brennan to be a reliable author for a good read. Hope you do more walking this week! (if this is a repeat please delete, not sure)

  5. Enjoy all your new books and tours. I'm reading more rom coms these days as well as the usual thrillers.

  6. Hi there Yvonne!

Sorry to hear you are not feeling 100% - hope you feel better real soon.

Thanks for sharing, and here are my WEEKLY UPDATES

  8. Hi. I'm Bonnie. New to Sunday Post. I think I need to do more walking while I listen to audiobooks instead of sitting on the couch! That's a good idea. Margaritas, Mayhem, and Murder, and Jiggered by Gin sound like good reads!

  9. Some good looking books here! Sometimes its nice to have a quiet week 😊

Hope you had a great weekend!

  14. Hope you will be back to feeling good soon, it sure puts you off reading doesn't it. I find it so anyway. The cosy mystery has a very holiday cover.

  20. I was home sick for a few days last week, but was happy that even though I felt pretty lousy, I could at least still read and listen to audiobooks. Silver lining! Hope you're feeling better soon, too! Looks like you have a lot of good variety of books to choose from!

  21. Sorry you haven't been feeling great this last week. I hope you are feeling better and getting back to your regularly scheduled life! I'm looking forward to some beach-read mysteries soon. Loving the cover of that Margarita Mayhem cover!
