The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
Another quiet week here. Our weather alternated between sunny, humid and rain all week. No special plans here, so it really didn't matter.
I did finish two books and I finally finished listening to Stanley Tucci's Taste. I had to stop listening to audio as I couldn't go outside walking for one reason or other - the falls I had, the humidity and the rain. I finally decided to just finish listening at home. I didn't have much left. I didn't write a review, but it was good and I really enjoyed having him narrate it. It felt more personal. He included personal tidbits along the way. I don't do much cooking, but I do love to eat and I was craving Italian food every time I listened to this one.
I've been binging on the TV show Evil. It's good and I have one more episode to watch. I, also, watch the show Transplant which I really like. Other than that, I've only been watching my two soaps - General Hospital and Days of Our Lives.
I don't have too much planned this week. I hope you all have a great week!
I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook of Taste!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing your review of the new Viola Shipman book. I love his books.
I would imagine that book would make me so hungry! I do want to watch Tucci's show, too, which I keep hearing about.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you enjoy a good cozy mystery. I've been tempted to try Tucci's book but haven't got around to it yet. Happy Reading this week.

A quiet week sounds very nice. Hope you enjoy Lynn Cahoon's new book if that is what you read next.
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been a bit strange here. Typical UK though 😂
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a good reading week and have a good haul. I love a free kindle book - just need the time to read them all!
Have a great week!

I really need to watch Evil. My husband really enjoys it and I know I would too. It's just a rarity to get me to binge watch something.
ReplyDeleteI loved the Tucci book on audio... his narration adds a lot to the experience! The books you have lined up for the week looks good. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI have the Tuesday Night Survivor's Club to read too, but not immediately in my plans. Hope your weather settles, audio sounds like it was worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteI really need to listen to the Tucci book ... maybe next month??
ReplyDeleteI wish I had listened to the Tucci book on audio. I enjoyed reading the book, but I bet it is even better to hear him read it.
ReplyDeleteWow. Days of Our Lives. That was my mom's favorite and she hooked me on it, way back when. I wonder how long it has been on tv.
I'm listening to Taste now too! My husband and I also really like Evil, but we have yet to start the most recent season. We might do so after the kids' school year is over and we can afford to stay up a bit later. Have a great week! - Melinda @ A Web of Stories
