The Weekend Review - October 8th-10th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

It's been a quiet week, which is always nice.  The weather in Florida has been nice since the storm left our area.  Even the humidity went down a little.

I managed to finish 3 books this week.  Although I had no blog tours, I did post something every day.  It's kind of nice to have a break from the tours.  Eventually I will get back to them but for now I'm just enjoying reading whatever I want.

I hope you all have a great week.  Stay safe!

  1. I'm glad your weather has been good after the storm passed through. That is always what seems to happen when hurricanes come through here.

I understand your delight at being able to read whatever you want. I thought hard about not doing the Cybils this year. Perhaps I will do that next year.

  7. All those food titled book! HA. And Hashbrowns and Homicide - made me laugh. Some of those cozy titles reach pretty hard to be clever. :) Hope you have a terrific week and find time to curl up with a good book.

  8. The weather has been nice in my part of Florida since Ian too, and I'm liking it but I feel so bad for the people who lost loved ones and/or property.

I see some book covers that caught my eye. I've got a few Christmas books on my list too.

  9. A good and quiet week is always welcome.

I am also trying to go slow on the blog tours, I only have 3 for this month and it suits me better that way. I have soooooo many of my own books that I really want to read.

Enjoy your reading time and the lovely weather!
