Synopsis from Goodreads:

Clean up on aisle Mystery! Brighton's got his paws full this time…

Things were going purrfectly at Brighton's new gig catching mice for a cozy little bookshop—a few naps, some belly rubs, and lots of pouncing on critters. Until one fine morning when he finds a man—stone cold and stiff as a scratching post—right in the mystery aisle.

Suspicion lands on the harmless bookstore owner and Brighton’s her only alibi. His whiskers twitch to clear her name, but his family says it’s too risky…until one of his humans has a vision of a mysterious blond woman.

Brighton rushes to poke his whiskers into the case, but he better sharpen his claws—his catnapper is back and might just stop him from getting to the murderer before they strike again.

If you like snarky cats, humorous adventures, and charming characters, then you'll love Elle Wren Burke’s whisker-raising mystery.

My Review

It's time for another trip to Prickly Pear, Arizona to catch up with one of my favorite felines, Brighton and his crew.  Brighton has a new job of catching mice in a local bookshop.  It’s the perfect place for him until one day he stumbles upon a dead man right in the bookshop.  The police immediately suspect Brighton’s sweet new boss, but he knows that can’t be true.

He turns to his psychic human family for help.  They conduct their own investigation, but Brighton has double trouble.  He, also, has a stalker after him.

I love mysteries with talking cats.  They say the cutest things and Brighton is no exception.  He always makes me smile.  I can’t say enough how much I enjoy this series.  It has everything I enjoy about cozy mysteries - an interesting storyline, quirky characters and a witty talking cat.  It also has an exciting finale.

It's a delightful cozy mystery with a very unique cat.  My only complaint is that it left me wanting more.  Not necessarily a bad thing but I’m already missing Brighton.

I can’t wait to read the next entry into this series.
