The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
Hello November! It's hard to believe we only have two months left to the year. It's really strange to me to see Christmas decorations out, but that's what happens. Halloween is over and now to the next holiday.
I'm a huge baseball fan (NY Yankees) so my TV was all about them while my TV shows backed up on my DVR. Sad ending to my baseball season, but congrats to the Dodgers and their fans. Now, back to my TV shows and books.
I only finished one book this week. Hopefully I'll start doing better now.
I have a few medical appointments this week. I'm still trying to get answers about my arm that hurts so much. They are sending me to an orthopedist, so we'll see how that goes.
Other than that, it's pretty quiet here. I hope you all have a great week!
Hope you can get some answers about your arm. XO
ReplyDeleteI hope you get some resolution to the arm pain -- that's such a frustrating process.
ReplyDeleteI've got The Gardener's Plot on reserve at the library. It sounds like a winner!
ReplyDeleteII hope your arm is better soon. I fell a while back and hurt my arm which is finally healed, and then a few weeks ago fell and hurt my ring finger on my right hand. It's still bent downward from the nail at the knuckle. All these books are new to me.
ReplyDeleteHow's The Gardener's Plot? I thought it looked fun when I've seen it around before, but I haven't seen any reviews yet!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the orthopedist. And enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are all set for the end of the year. Good luck with your reading. The Gardener's Plot looks good.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are able to get your arm figured out. I had frozen shoulder about ten years ago, and the solution was yoga. I still love yoga all these years later.
I'm not ready for christmas yet, but its coming nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteI hope you start getting answers on your arm soon so you can work to relieve the pain. Your current reads have great covers. I would read On Deck just because it features a cruise ship. Cruising is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI hope the orthopedist can help sort out what's going on with your arm, and give some relief from the pain. Booked for Murder has a great cover; I look forward to seeing what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteI hope the doctors can figure it out. I have had good luck with physical therapy on some issues over the years. I'm just not ready for Christmas stuff yet, maybe in a few weeks.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I hope things go well. I am not ready for the holidays either...lol
ReplyDeletePuck and Prejudice sounds fun!

I can't believe that this year is almost over! Hope your arm feels better soon.

I had my first sighting of Christmas lights today. I guess it's better to string them when it is warm out. Praying you get answers on your arm. Enjoy your week.

It’s so frustrating to have a health issue that remains undiagnosed. I hope you get some answers and a treatment plan soon.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about how quickly we move from Halloween to Christmas. At the B&N I work at, we don't even wait until Halloween to start putting out a small amount of Christmas stuff. It feels so early, but people already start buying it!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck getting answers about your arm. I just read Booked for Murder and liked it. I hope you do too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteJust listening on the radio and the guy is complaining about his wife putting up Christmas decorations and at the same time I was reading your comment about shops. I do hope you can find some help with your arm. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteLooks like crime & romance for you ---sometimes together? #Bookdate
ReplyDeleteI wonder what this gardener is up to...
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry your team lost, but hope for better things next year.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed A New Lease on Death and am looking forward to picking up Booked For Murder soon. I'm not a Yankees fan usually but was rooting for them against the Dodgers. Next year will be their year! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your baseball team. Hallmark starting airing new Christmas movies before Halloween, but I haven't started watching them yet. I hope your appointments went smoothly and you got some answers. :)
