The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
It's hard to believe July is almost over. I still have a week to get in some more reading for the month though. 😊
I really need to go through my reading challenges and see what I still need to complete. I've been really good at procrastinating going through all my lists.
This week I finished two books and watched Dexter. I've been binging on Falcon Crest. I watched it when it originally aired and it's been a long time since I've seen these episodes.
I don't have much to report this week. I did have a good doctor's appointment this week, so that's good. Everything else is pretty much the same as always.
I hope everyone has a great week!
Lots of good books! I've been watching the series on Hulu called Black Cake, Quite good.
ReplyDeleteI know I can't believe we are almost to August, the year just flies by! Hope you have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteStormi
I'm horrible at book challenges. I am too much of a moody reader. Overall count for the year is about all I do.
ReplyDeleteThe Battle of the Bookstores is on my list too. I hope to get to it soon. Enjoy your reading.
Here's my StS https://stuckinbooks.com/2025/07/26/stacking-the-shelves-7-25-25/
Looks like a good batch of books you have coming up. Recently we watched a revenge story Kdrama called Mercy For None. The title wasn’t kidding, everyone was taken down.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are doing well. Inside activities right now with this heat. We are doing more tv and reading too.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Yay for a good week and lots of reading!
ReplyDeleteGood doctor's appointments are always welcome. Loving your new arrivals. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good appointment. XO
ReplyDeleteA good doctor appointment and finishing some books is an excellent week, really.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that July is almost over either. You have some great books coming up and I hope you enjoy them all.
ReplyDeleteGlad your appointment went well. I'm very behind on updating my NetGalley Reading Journal, which I said I would keep up with this year. I need to make time to update it. Have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteI remember Falcon's Crest. It's so amazing we have the ability to easily watch old shows now. Great news on your medical appointment. Hope you enjoy your books this week.

Good luck with reading for your challenges. I have been reading so much outside of my challenge lists so need to take stock and actually choose something that I can use for a challenge!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
The covers are all inviting. I might check some of it. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI admire that you tackle reading challenges - I like the idea but am far too flighty to be able to guarantee that I'd pick up the right book at the right time... Have a great week, Yvonne:).
ReplyDeleteI'm about to start The Battle of the Bookshops and I have The Marigold Collective coming up on my reading list. I'm really looking forward to both. I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYes end of July and soon it will be end of the year! Nice to have a quiet week, they are the best.
ReplyDeleteWhere do you watch Falcon Crest??!! Now that is a blast from the past! I love Dexter too :) Hope you have some great reading time this week!
ReplyDeleteI watch Falcon Crest on Plex. I think it might also be on Amazon Prime.
DeleteMurder by the Slice has both cats and pies? Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your challenges. I need to take a close look at mine, too.
