ReplyDeleteI'm not a costume person much, either, but there are a couple of clever things to do. One year when there was a government shutdown, my youngest daughter dressed in a suit and tie and wore a piece of cardboard around her neck with the word, "Closed" written on it. She told people, "I'm the government!" and most of them were highly amused.
