The Weekend Review - November 1st-3rd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

Happy November! I know how we always talk about time flying, but it's so true.  It's hard to believe there are only two months left to the year.

I think I'll be falling short on a few of my challenges, but I do think I'll make my Goodreads challenge.  Of course I had to adjust it during the year but maybe I'll get to go over my goal.  There's a good chance.

I only finished two books this week.  I, also, had my TV shows to watch Survivor, 911, NCIS, Fire Country, Sheriff Country, and Boston Blue.

The temps are cool in Florida right now which has given me a chance to do some walking.  That's always nice.  We've been having very low humidity and I'm enjoying it for as long as we can get it.

No big plans for the week. How about you?  Anything exciting going on?  I hope everyone has a great week!

  1. I wouldn't worry too much about not meeting those challenges, just as long as you take the time to enjoy the books you did read.

  5. I love the look of Witches of Dubious Origin. As for reading challenges - I'm impressed that you get involved. I'm far too erratic in my reading to be able to take part. Have a great week, Yvonne:)).

  9. Time is flying. I have more house projects and yard projects. It really helps that the weather is cooler so it's easier to do them.

  10. Great selection of books. It's a little colder here in Louisiana but will be warmer by Tuesday. Typical fall weather.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
