This week's topic is The First 10 Books I Randomly Grabbed from My Shelf (Stand in front of your book collection, close your eyes, point to a title, and write it down. If you have shelves, point to your physical books. If you have a digital library, use a random number generator and write down the title of the book that corresponds with the number you generated. You get bonus points if you tell us whether or not you’ve read the book, and what you thought of it if you did!)
This was fun. I only have a digital library these days. So, I used a random number generator and only used my TBR shelf from Goodreads. I have 1794 books on it (yikes!) These are the 10 books chosen by the randomizer. I haven't read any of them. I hope to get to read them someday, but my TBR list seems to grow and I'm making no progress cutting it down.
If you click the cover, it will take you to their Goodreads page.
What's on your list this week?

I feel better that someone's list is larger than mine. Such great looking books, Yvonne. Hope you get to read some of these.

I enjoy J.D. Robb, I can't remember if I've read that one or not.

These all look good! I hope that you get a chance to read them. I have read Holmes, Marple and Poe. That was good.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

Even though you have 1794 books on your TBR list, all of these look like great read and fun choices.
ReplyDeleteAnother great stack of reads.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
These are all new to me! Paws to Remember looks so cute though.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful week!

I can say I recognize a few authors, but no books!
ReplyDeleteI loved that Jenn McKinlay series, and I'm behind on it.
ReplyDeleteI used a random number generator for today's prompt, too, but chose from both my physical and digital TBR lists. (Specifically, books I own that I haven't read yet.) And yeah, I hear you on the hugely-long Goodreads TBR list. Mine's over 2600 books, counting books I don't own as well as books I do. I can't possibly get through it in my remaining lifetime, even if I gave up rereading altogether—and I love rereading books I've enjoyed before.
Wow, you have a lot of books in your digital library!
ReplyDeleteI love Jenn McKinlay! Great bookshelf you have.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
A good random mix of books
ReplyDeleteI read a few In Death books back in the day but I can't remember if this was one of them or not!
ReplyDeleteThe only one I know is the JD Robb one because my mum owns every one and is always rereading them . My TBR list is so out of control and also continually growing, it's an addition.

Substitute "books" for "chess" and you have me.
Paws to Remember looks good.
ReplyDeleteI love mysteries and I've read books by a few of these authors, but I haven't read any of these actual books. And, I know what you mean about TBR lists growing and not shrinking. The struggle is real!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
I love a random number generator and have discovered I like a bit of randomness when picking my reading. This is a great list! I love the Jenn McKinlay and a number of the other books you've listed and I really need to read something by JD Rob soon.
