My Review
For those who don’t know Bob Odenkirk, he was on the TV show “Breaking Bad” and then went on to do the spin-off, “Better Call Saul”. Those are his projects that I'm familiar with. However, he had an interesting career before those shows and he’s still going strong after both shows ended. This audiobook covers his whole career.
He talks about his time as a comedian and writer on such shows as Second City, Saturday Night Live and other comedy shows. We, also, find out about his time on Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and his movie career. Mostly he concentrates on his years in comedy. He tells us about the good times as well as the bad.
I was very happy that he narrated it himself. It gave me the feeling we were sitting in a living room having a chat. There is no explosive gossip. Nothing earthshattering. So, if you like that type of memoir, this isn’t for you. It’s an interesting account of his career and the friendships he discovered along the way.
I found it enjoyable and made even more special by hearing it in the author's own voice.
