The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
It feels like the weeks are flying by. I can't believe a week has gone by since my last weekend post and now January is over. I know many are going through very cold and snowy weather. I hope everyone is doing well. Even here in Florida we are under a severe weather warning. So many places are much colder than here, but Florida isn't used to it. Since I'm only a recent transplant to Florida from New York, I'm fine with it.
I finished two books this week. They were good ones. I'm enjoying my current read very much. As for what I'm watching, it's the usual for me - 911, Chicago Med, PD and Fire, and The Pitt.
There's really nothing new going on here. It's the same old stuff, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. How are things in your part of the world? I hope you all have a great week!

I just requested THIS BOOK MADE ME THINK OF YOU from my public library after seeing it on another blog. It sounds sad, but I have to know what the 12 books are. It's cold here, but we're used to it in the Midwest. Imagine you are the best driver in Florida in the snow!
ReplyDeleteI love Simone St. James. My mother lives in Lake Mary Florida and it has been unseasonably cold. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip
ReplyDeleteYour weather is so unusual it even made the news in Washington State. They said an outdoor hockey game would be appropriate for the weather in the mid-30s.

I'n reading the Libby Page book too. How do you like it? I love all the book recommendations.

I'm loving it! So emotional!
DeleteI'm so used to snow, it's weird to watch other states struggle with it on the news. I can't believe January is over, either.
ReplyDeleteThe month really has flown by though it always feels as if January does.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying This Book Made Me Think of You
Wishing you a wonderful reading week
It's super chilly where I am at in Michigan! Stay Warm!
ReplyDeleteFlorida has been in our weather news. Glad it isn't too bad for you since you're used to New York weather. Stay cozy and have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been quite a while since you stopped posting mainly mysteries, so I don't know why I am still surprised to see other types of books on your page. Are you enjoying This Book Made Me Think of You? It is one that I hope to read as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the book. I'm trying to mix it up a bit and read a little of everything.
DeleteGlad the weather isn't a problem for you. I lived in Minnesota for 35 years so I have all my clothes and gear. January was rough so I'm glad it's finished.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Do you have iguanas falling out of trees in your part of Florida? :)
ReplyDeleteWe have the warnings, but I haven't seen any.
DeleteI've been getting curious about This Book Made Me Think Of You, from seeing other people post about it! Hope you're enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous that you are reading This Book Made Me Think of You. I'm looking forward to reading it.
ReplyDeleteWe have just gotten over a spell of cold weather. It's funny that we saw show when we saw both our kids this winter!
The cover for Tusks, Tails and Teacups is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI do like the sound of This Book Made Me Think of You too!
Have a great week!
You are reading the Libby Page book, I hope to read that at some point, had my eye on it for awhile. Florida would certainly be good weather wise after NY.
ReplyDeleteWe are so cold here and I am not enjoying it! The dog thinks it's great though. I'm hoping we see some warmup soon because I'm not a fan of winter! You have a lot of great books coming up and the Libby Page book looks so good. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteInteresting assortment of books. It's been quiet here too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteIt's been cold here, but the last storm missed us. Our daughter in NC got the snow instead. This
ReplyDeleteBook Made Me Think of You looks like it will be a popular choice. I would buy it if I didn't have so many books here. I didn't know that Benard had released a memoir a few years ago. How interesting. Thanks for sharing.
