The Weekend Review - October 17th-19th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

We mostly had beautiful weather this week, until today.  We started out nice but then the rain, thunder and lightning came.  It sounds like it's going to be here tomorrow too.  It does make for nice reading time, though.

I finished two books this week. As for what I'm watching - my usual shows Survivor, Chicago Med, PD and Fire. 911, Sheriff Country, Fire Country and Boston Blue all returned so I watched those.

I've been organizing my reading for the rest of the year. Hoping I can complete some of my reading challenges.  I should be able to complete the Goodreads challenge.  I'm going to up the numbers though. I think I can read more than I anticipated at the beginning of the year.

Other than that, everything is the same as always here - quiet.  I hope you all have a great week!

  3. I hope you get your numbers for the challenges. I see you got the latest Amanda Elliot book. I love hers. There's Jewish background in many of them which I'm not knowledgeable about but enjoy learning a bit plus all the foodie stuff.

  4. Quiet can be very good. My son asked for some dystopian classics for his birthday, including one or two I haven't read! Gonna need to fit them in to my schedule :)

  5. That title made me laugh so hard - Kidnapped and Catnipped. So cute!
Hope you enjoy the weather and reading time, and enjoy your shows :)
I'm in the same mode, planning the end of the year reading. I'm not sure I will make my Goodreads goal though, but that's ok :)

  9. We are sooo dry here. I see storms approaching from the Gulf, and they go right around us, as if we have a gigantic umbrella over us.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
